Call To Order: Mark Bollman called the meeting to order at 9:00 AM.
Opening Remarks and Announcements (Mark Bollman)
Board members and guests were emailed today’s Agenda and Treasurer’s Report. There are 9 board members present but the president doesn’t vote so we’ll be looking for 8 votes today. Lora is out of town today so Rebecca volunteered to take notes for us.
Executive Committee Report (Mark Bollman)
Executive Committee members include our president, vice president, secretary, and treasurer. Major accomplishment this month was finalizing the upstream and downstream budgets for 2022-23 fiscal year. Everyone received spreadsheets showing what each of our assessment invoices will be. Today’s agenda includes two motions to approve.
Special thanks to Kathleen for mailing the May meeting announcement and nominations letters. Every property owner was invited to nominate themselves to serve a three-year term with the Board of Directors. Deadline was April 8. We received five nominations for five seats, so we don’t need to mail ballots this year. Rebecca is retiring after two terms. Kathleen, Brent, and Mark volunteered for another term. We welcome new board members Andrea Benson (downstream) and Jessica Muller (upstream).
Treasurer’s Report (Darcy Niedermeyer)
Report was given for both Feb and March.
March Income is $6436.12 for downstream, and 0 for upstream.
March expenses are $1061.92 for downstream and $7096.96 for upstream.
Bank balances are:
Checking: Downstream: $ 97,802.53 Upstream $39,976.66
Savings: Downstream $4289.84 Upstream $1,952.94
Collections Update / Legal (Gary Johnson)
Gary Johnson hosted a special zoom meeting with Collections Committee members Darcy, Lora, and Mark to review all the current cases and relay further instructions to Inslee Best. Ron & Julie Shults paid their delinquent account in full and sold their property.
Roads Upstream (Dave MacFarlane)
Gravel was stockpiled and spread-dumped on the Access Road, and the grader worked from Hwy 2 to Alder Loop. We also repaired the ditch that Chris Brassfield’s residents dug across Sky Loop.
Roads Downstream (Mat Williams)
Roads downstream are in pretty good shape. We have occasional potholes but have stayed on top of them pretty diligently all winter, so by and large the entire downstream system is in good shape. Other than that, there’s nothing new to report.
